Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. is seeking experienced security guards to cover sites in the Hamilton/Oakville/Brantford region. This role involves enforcing regulations, monitoring CCTV, controlling site access, and responding to incidents to keep stakeholders safe.

Requirements include a valid Ontario Security License, First Aid with CPR, and strong communication and report-writing skills. Pay starts at $21.15 hourly with growth based on performance.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• 1 year of security experience, preferred
• Diploma/Degree in security or law enforcement preferred i.e Justice Studies, Police Foundations, etc
• Excellent communication & report writing skills
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Listening mindset and empathy
• Capable of standing and walking for up to 12 hours
• Problem-solving and crowd management with good judgment
• A valid driver's license & having a personal vehicle is an asset

Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across the Hamilton/Oakville/Brantford region.

As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Pay rate: $21.15

Pay progression/Career Growth based on performance evaluation: $23 to $27.50
