Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking dedicated Security Guards to ensure safety for clients and assets. You will maintain a visible presence, control access, respond to incidents, and document activities with accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR, plus 6–12 months of security experience. Must communicate well and be able to stand for long periods; driving may be an asset.

Qualifications

• PSI/Police Foundation is an asset.

Responsibilities

The Day-to-Day:

• Provide a visual presence and monitor premises to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action.

• Provide excellent customer service, assisting clients and visitors when needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents and activities.

What You'll Bring:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR
• Valid Driver's License (whether G1/G2/G)
• At least 6 months/one year of experience as a Security Guard.
• PSI/Police Foundation is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to commute and a vehicle is an asset
• Able to stand for extended periods.

Pay Rate : $21.81
