Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. in Guelph, ON is seeking a Casual Security Guard for our data center site with an immediate start. The role requires professional conduct and vigilance.

Shifts include days or nights with full-time, part-time or casual status. Pay rate is $19.14 per hour, with overtime often available and access to training and advancement opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License
• Minimum 1 year as a Security Guard
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods
• CCTV monitoring experience in a control room setting considered an asset
• Experience with access card programming considered an asset
• Experience with alarm monitoring is considered an asset
• Experience in responding to emergency situations considered an asset

Experience and Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License
• Minimum of 1-year of experience as a Security Guard
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
