Job summary

Convera in Toronto seeks an FX Sales Representative to uncover and close hedging opportunities, onboarding new clients and transacting hedging business with the New Business Sales teams.

You will create hedging solutions using our derivative products, contribute to market commentary, and represent the business at client functions while collaborating with internal stakeholders on related projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience dealing hedging solutions (forward and option) to corporate or SME customers.
• In-depth knowledge of FX option structures and hedging strategies.
• Ability to structure FX option hedging solutions.
• Strong understanding of broad financial markets and ability to translate technical concepts to clients.

Responsibilities

• Uncover and close hedging opportunities from client books and onboard new customers.
• Develop strategies based on market trends and communicate with compliance on go-to-market.
• Execute trades and handle pre/post-trade administration and reporting.
• Prepare and present bespoke Hedging/Treasury Policies for clients.
