Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a Canadian university (required) with graduation between Dec 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Available Summer 2027 for an internship in Toronto.
• Strong CS fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with React and modern frontend testing tools (Webpack, Babel, Jest, Jasmine, Protractor, WebDriver).
• Understanding of browsers and DOM; experience with Git; browser dev tools and Unix CLI.
• Solid web performance knowledge; TypeScript and Sass preferred.
• Experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing; open source contributions valued.

Responsibilities

• Own your project, while checking in with other team members throughout the day with questions and updates
• Leave the code in a better state than when you found it (progressive refactor)
• Value reliability, ensured by testing (unit, integration and load tests)
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Continuous integration and deployment
