Assignments Include

• Familiarity with site standard operating procedures with a focus on detail and accuracy
• Know the site safety and emergency procedures and ensure they are followed and documented accurately
• Complete security incident reports with a report writing database focused on the 5 W's, accuracy, and database integrity
• Liaise with visitors, customers, and the public in a concierge-focused security setting at reception desk posts
• Operate the Security Operations Centre (SOC) where you will monitor multiple properties, perform access control, credential creation, and use the systems provided proactively to solve problems while adhering to SOP
• Maintain a positive, productive work environment through collaboration with employees, visitors, customers, and the security team
• Walk for 2+ hours during interior and exterior patrols
• Monitor email communications and respond professionally and clearly

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard license
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certificate
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Microsoft Office experience
