North York General Hospital (NYGH) is a teaching hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Serving primarily the North York district and southern York Region, it offers acute care, ambulatory, and long-term services across multiple sites. Job Description:

Working on assigned shifts, you will perform proactive and reactive security patrols and respond to incidents. Responsibilities include writing reports, investigating routine incidents, and responding efficiently to coded emergencies. You should demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to work with individuals under stress or in need of medical assistance. Physical fitness is essential, as you will need to stand and walk for extended periods.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work on assigned shifts
• Provide security patrols and respond to incidents during 12-hour shifts
• Write reports and investigate incidents
• Respond quickly to coded emergencies
• Maintain excellent customer service
• Assist individuals under stress or requiring medical aid
• Remain physically fit to stand and walk for long durations
