Job summary

Paladin Security in Edmonton is hiring a security professional to provide exceptional customer service and protect client assets. You will conduct patrols, respond to alarms, de-escalate crises, and coordinate with emergency services as needed.

Daily duties include writing clear incident reports, managing access control, and assisting patrons. This full-time role requires strong communication, composure under pressure, and the ability to work various shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong observational skills.
• Ability to make immediate decisions while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist clients and patrons.
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches.
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies promptly.
• De-escalate crisis situations and liaise with emergency personnel.
• Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers when necessary.
• Write clear, detailed incident and day-to-day reports.
• Provide first aid and medical response when required.
• Operate two-way radios and computer systems to communicate site activities.
• Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries.

Job description

• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• De-escalate crisis situations, provide support, and liaise with emergency personnel, including police, fire and paramedic resources
• Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
• Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability, and day to day reports
• Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
• Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
• Handle Lost & Found items and inquires
