Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Dispatch Security Guard for overnight shifts in Toronto. The role focuses on coordinating communications between agents, customers, and account management to maintain secure operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring cameras, reporting incidents, and ensuring policy compliance while supporting growth opportunities within GardaWorld Campus training programs.

Qualifications

• Valid WSIB approved First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Must be available to work overnight shifts.
• Must have previous dispatch experience working in security.
• This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Watch for and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire and/or ambulance personnel, and elevate to leadership as outlined in standard operating procedures
• Provide overall security, through vital camera patrols, observation and reporting
• Confirm security compliance and integrity
• Accurately report on key security measurements through detailed report and record keeping
• Consistent communication and coordination with operations and client teams
• Respond in a timely manner to internal and external requests
• Audit and ensure all cameras are working
