Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for afternoon shifts at our Toronto facility. You will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and document reports to maintain a safe environment.

The role requires strong observation, attention to detail, and the ability to stand and walk throughout the shift. The position offers a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 3:45pm-9:45pm) with uniform provided, and opportunities for career growth and further GardaWorld Academy training.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Ontario security license.
• WSIB approved First aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats.
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols for safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor IDs.
• Analyze systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalat in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
