Sales Representative
Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario

The Sales Representative is responsible for executing Lactalis' sales strategy at retail to drive profitable revenue growth. This includes managing business relationships at retail, generating new business, and ensuring merchandising plans, display techniques, and inventory management eliminate product out-of-stock situations. The role involves executing promotional plans, store coverage models, securing distribution and secondary displays, and building top-line sales through prospecting and leveraging existing locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing sales plans for each Division based on weekly coverage models to meet listing and merchandising objectives.
  2. Performing administrative duties such as business review reports, budget reports, and display/distribution summaries.
  3. Monitoring market activity, competitive listings, and supporting new product launches and marketing campaigns.
  4. Achieving distribution goals and executing store coverage models aligned with the field sales process.

Qualifications include:

  1. 1-2 years of sales experience in the CPG industry or related field.
  2. Strong analytical, planning, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Knowledge of the grocery industry and retail marketplace.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Nielsen data, and SAP.
  5. Valid company vehicle or car allowance.
