Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Halifax, NS is hiring a Full Time Customer Service Associate to join our front-end team. You will greet customers enthusiastically, process orders, handle inquiries and complaints, and promote our programs in a high-volume store environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales or service, strong customer-service skills, and comfort with POS and payment processing. Flexible for opening/closing duties and occasional relocation within the store as needed.

Qualifications

• One or more years in a sales or service environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to provide superior customer service.
• Good judgment and logical thinking required.
• Experience in outdoor lifestyle is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Provide a legendary experience and promote Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s programs.
• Use POS and Inventory systems to complete transactions per policy.
• Respond to customer issues with good judgment and resolve them or escalate.
• Assist asset protection with store procedures; check prices and security devices.
• Perform opening/closing duties and support store operations as needed.
