Bass Pro Shops in Halifax, NS is seeking a Seasonal Gifts Associate (PT) to join our outdoors-focused team this holiday season. This part-time role emphasizes friendly, knowledgeable service to help customers find the perfect gifts.

You’ll assist with product recommendations, store upkeep, and promotions, while showing enthusiasm for the outdoors. Training and discount benefits apply; interview days are planned on site.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, and making product recommendations based off of this analysis.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
