Job summary

Hamilton Village Care Centre in Richmond is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team. This full-time role offers 4 on, 2 off shifts from 06:30 to 14:30, with competitive hourly wages and comprehensive benefits.

As an LPN, you will observe and document residents' conditions, provide personal care, support infection control, and assist with scheduling. Active LPN registration with BCCNM and First Aid are required, along with English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
• Active LPN registration with BCCNM.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required.
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices.
• Assesses resident health status including differentiating between normal/abnormal findings and dementia vs delirium.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role
