Pro Vita Care Management is seeking an LPN for Foyer Maillard in Coquitlam. The role involves resident care, monitoring health conditions, and supporting infection control. The position offers full-time hours: 4 on, 2 off, 2:30pm–10:30pm, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified applicants must complete a Practical Nursing program, hold active LPN status with BCCNM, and maintain COVID-19 vaccination. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
Active LPN registration with BCCNM.
Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' health and well-being.
Providing personal care to residents as required.
Supporting shift scheduling and infection control practices.
Assisting with emergency staff coordination as needed.
Differentiating normal vs. abnormal health findings and dementia cues.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role

Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions,
Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required,
Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling,
Ensuring adherence to infection control practices
Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to:
- Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
- Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
