Job summary

Marigold Gardens in Burnaby, BC seeks a Registered Nurse to join our compassionate care team. Location: 7197 Canada Way, Burnaby BC V5E 4A6. Salary: $41.42 - $55.91 per hour.

Casual: Days & Hours varies. You will observe, document, and support residents, deliver personal care as needed, and help with scheduling and infection control. We require Active RN registration with BCCNM, Graduation from a recognized Nursing program, and First Aid Level 1.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Nursing program.
• Active RN registration with BCCNM.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required.
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices.
• Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to: differentiating normal vs. abnormal findings; recognizing dementia vs. delirium.
