Job summary

Pro Vita Care Management is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vancouver for a casual, days-varying position. The role offers attractive pay at $54.06 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team focused on high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized nursing program.
• Active registration with the BCCNM as an RN.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• More than 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care is preferred.

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required.
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices.
• Assesses resident health status, differentiating between normal and abnormal findings and dementia vs delirium.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions,
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required,
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling,
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices
• Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to:
  • Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
  • Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
