Day & Ross is seeking a Dock Worker in Calgary, AB for full-time day and evening shifts. You will manage inbound and outbound freight on the dock, operate a counter-balance forklift, and help maintain a safe, efficient work area in a busy transportation environment.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to TDG and WHMIS policies, and reliable performance with limited supervision. Applicants should be able to lift up to 75 lbs and pass background checks as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Counter balance forklift experience.
• Previous transportation or cross dock experience is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work efficiently with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle big and bulky freight on the dock, both on and off a forklift.
• Follow TDG, WHMIS, and company policies, as well as any customer requirements.
• Pay attention to the details. Receive and ship freight accurately and efficiently.
• Other duties as required.
