Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of product received and shipped.
• Break down skids and build smaller orders for delivery.
• Move product safely and report incidents to supervisor.
• Complete various documents as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Role Summary:

The Dockworker role involves loading, unloading, and moving freight on the dock while ensuring shipments are handled safely and accurately. The position includes operating equipment, checking products, and maintaining a clean and organized work area to support daily operations.

Hours of Work:

Sunday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm – 2 vacancies

Tuesday to Friday, 2:00pm – 12:30am – 1 vacancy

Key Accountabilities:

• Load, unload and move product and materials to and from trailers and containers onto dock
• Operate equipment such as forklift, clamp truck, dollies or hand trucks, etc.
• Inspect equipment prior to commencing shift and as required during shift
• Verify accuracy of product being received and shipped
• May be required to break down skids of product and build smaller orders for delivery to customer
• Ensure product is moved in a safe manner and reports any incidents to their supervisor or lead hand
• Complete various documents as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:
