Job summary

Purdys Chocolatier, a trusted Canadian brand with over 115 years of chocolate making, is hiring a Full-Time Casual Warehouse Associate in Vancouver. The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM and starting wage of $19.53 per hour plus premiums.

You will scan orders, pick and package shipments, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting productivity and quality targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Available to work at 8330 Chester Street, Vancouver.
• Available to work 40 hours per week: Monday-Friday 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience.
• CSA-certified safety shoes.
• Nice to Have: Class 2 Narrow Reach Forklift Certification.

Responsibilities

• Scan and process orders.
• Pick, sort, and package shipments accurately and efficiently.

Compensation

Starting wage: $19.53/hour

Additional premiums available:

• +$0.75/hour for shifts worked between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM
• +$1.00/hour for shifts worked between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• +$1.00/hour for employees with a valid Occupational First Aid Level 2 or 3 Certificate
