Job summary

Purdys Chocolatier in Vancouver is hiring a Full-Time Casual Warehouse Associate for a 6-month seasonal contract. The role is 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Starting wage is $19.53/hour plus premiums for certain hours and qualifications.

You will scan orders, pick and package shipments, maintain GMP and SQF safety practices in a fast-paced environment. Strong English skills and teamwork are essential; CSA-certified safety shoes are required.

Qualifications

• Available to work at 8330 Chester Street, Vancouver.
• Available to work 40 hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8.5-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Warehouse, shipping or distribution experience.
• CSA-certified safety shoes.
• Nice to have: Class 2 Narrow Reach Forklift Certification

Compensation

Starting wage: $19.53/hour

Additional premiums available:

• +$0.75/hour for shifts worked between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM
• +$1.00/hour for shifts worked between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• +$1.00/hour for employees with a valid Occupational First Aid Level 2 or 3 Certificate
