Job summary

Purdys Chocolatier in Vancouver, BC is hiring a Full-Time High Reach Fork Lift Driver to join our warehouse team. You will support order fulfillment, ensure accurate scanning and packing, and help maintain a clean, efficient work area.

Candidates must hold a Class 2 Narrow Reach forklift certification, be able to work 6:00am–4:30pm, and demonstrate strong English communication, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong spoken and written English communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in routine tasks.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate High reach forklift (certified) and scan orders.
• Sort, pick and package shipments to meet daily targets.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations and common areas.
• Ensure product quality and positive customer experience.
• Comply with GMPs and SQF policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

Do you have a keen eye for detail, great communication skills, and a desire to work in a positive team environment? Purdys Chocolatier is looking for a Full-Time High Reach Fork Lift Driver to join our efficient Warehouse Teams at our Chester Street and Kingsway facility in Vancouver, BC!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operating High reach fork lift (Must be certified)
• Scanning orders
• Sorting, picking and packaging shipments
• Consistently meeting daily production targets
• Maintaining cleanliness of work stationsand common areas
• Examining productsto ensure quality and positive customerexperience
• Complies with all company GMP's; comply with SQF policies and procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

All applicants MUST have:

• Class 2 Narrow Reach Forklift Certification and experience using Narrow High reach forklifts
• Availability: Must be able to work at 8330 Chester Street between the hours of 6:00am - 4:30pm (8.5 hour shifts)
• Strongspoken and written English communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team
• CSA certified safety shoes
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Experience workingin a shipping and distribution environment an asset
