Job summary

Summit GM in Fort McMurray, Alberta is seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk. You will manage the full AP/AR cycle, process invoices and payments, and interact with vendors and customers daily to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires prior AP/AR experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Automotive dealership experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on accurate financial record-keeping and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an A/R & A/P Clerk is required.
• Experience working for an automotive dealership is highly preferred but not required.
• Must be organized with the ability to prioritize.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Knowledge of MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Handle full cycle accounts payable and receivable.
• Process, classify, and verify invoices and receipts for vendors.
• Prepare payable checks and mail monthly customer statements.
• Post invoices and reconcile ledgers daily to match dealership schedules.
• Answer vendor inquiries regarding payment status and maintain vendor records.
• Assist with year-end 1099 production and other duties as assigned.
