Job summary

General Magic is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to own features end to end across frontend, backend, data models, APIs, and the underlying infrastructure. You’ll ship to production weekly in a flat team where you shape what gets built and work directly with the founders.

You’ll build surfaces for brokers and their customers, including agent channels such as messaging platforms, while owning the deployments that power the product in production.

Qualifications

• Must have TypeScript, React, TanStack Start, StyleX, SQL, Cloudflare, GCP, Infrastructure as code, Docker.
• Nice to have Functional programming principles, RPC, Effect (TypeScript), System design.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend, backend, data models, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Build the surfaces brokers and customer-facing channels our agents run on (e.g., messaging platforms).
• Own your deployments and ship to production every week.
• Collaborate with founders and shape what gets built.
