Job summary

Strada, Toronto-based, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join in-person at our Toronto office. You will build, evaluate, and deploy complex insurance‑oriented systems, owning features end‑to‑end and shaping architectural decisions as we scale.

You’ll work with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure, collaborating closely with customers and Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver high-impact products.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack web development, preferably at startups.
• Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Track record of owning technically challenging, cross-functional projects.
• Customer-first mindset and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Own a meaningful feature or system improvement end-to-end—from design to deployment.
• Shape technical decisions on architecture, tooling, or infrastructure.
• Build relationships with customers and Forward Deployed Engineers to guide product direction.
• Mentor newer engineers as the team scales.
• Have a real seat at the table on product and technical strategy as an early engineer.
