General Magic is seeking a Forward Deployed Broker to own sales, teach, and implement within insurance brokerages. You will build and close mid-market to enterprise deals, embed AI agent workflows on site, and train teams to operate with the new system.

In this role you’ll become the industry’s go-to person for deploying AI in insurance, represent the company at events, and expand accounts by finding high-value workflows after initial wins.

Qualifications

• Real experience inside insurance brokerage as a producer, account executive, operator, or consultant to brokerages.
• Understanding of brokerage operations, carrier relationships, and servicing workflows.
• Proven ability to sell and close deals with mid-market and enterprise brokerages.
• Comfort with teaching, training, and rolling out new AI-enabled processes.

Responsibilities

• Own sales end to end: build pipeline, run the deal, and close with brokerages.
• Implement what you sell: embed with customers and deploy agent workflows.
• Teach producers, CSRs, and leadership until they can operate without you.
• Represent us at conferences and industry events to generate pipeline.

About the role

Insurance-specific AI built for brokerages. A full team of AI agents handles customer service, underwriting, and quoting within a single connected system. We're building the infrastructure to run an insurance business at full capacity: more policies serviced, more quotes out the door, better margins on both.

We're hiring a Forward Deployed Broker to own sales, teaching, and implementation: bringing brokerages on, training their teams, and making the shift to working alongside AI feel easy instead of threatening. You'll work directly with the founders.

What you’ll be doing

• Own sales end to end: build your own pipeline into mid-market and enterprise brokerages, run the deal, and close it.

• Implement what you sell. Embed with each customer, map how they actually work, and deploy the agent workflows yourself.

• Teach. Train producers, CSRs, and leadership one on one until the team can run without you in the room.

• Become the person the industry calls about deploying AI in insurance. That means knowing what works, what fails, and why, better than anyone else in the market.

• Represent us at conferences and industry events, and turn those rooms into pipeline.

• Expand accounts by finding the next high-value workflow once the first one lands.

• Turn what you learn on the ground into product decisions with our engineering team.

About you

• Real experience inside insurance brokerage as a producer, account executive, operator, or consultant to brokerages. We care about what you've done, not how long you've been doing it.

• You know how a brokerage actually runs: the management system, the carrier relationships, and the daily grind of servicing.

• You like selling and you like closing. Neither one makes you uncomfortable.

• You can hold a room with executives and also sit beside a CSR for an afternoon.

• Builder mindset. You'd rather configure the thing yourself than write a recommendation about it.

• Genuinely curious about AI, patient enough to test where it holds up, and enough of a hustler to figure the rest out on your own.
