Job summary

Mercury in Canada is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and data roles. You will build and maintain robust pipelines, source top technical talent, and develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s products and engineering needs.

You’ll collaborate with hiring managers, manage offers, and ensure a thoughtful candidate experience from first touch to final decision. The role emphasizes authentic representation of Mercury’s values, diversity, urgency, and teamwork

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a technical recruiter supporting engineering or data teams.
• Strong sourcing skills that go beyond LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Deep curiosity about Mercury’s products and teams, and how roles drive impact.
• Strong alignment with Mercury’s values and ability to represent them authentically.
• Enjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams with empathy and care.
• Owns hiring efforts across other areas when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and data roles, from kickoff to close
• Build and maintain strong pipelines across multiple roles simultaneously
• Source candidates proactively and creatively to engage top technical talent
• Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s products, engineering challenges, and team needs
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders on pipeline health, progress, blockers, and timelines
• Own offer strategy and closing for your searches
• Deliver a candidate experience that's thoughtful and transparent from first touch to final decision
