Job summary

IKEA in Calgary, Alberta is seeking an overnight Fulfilment Operations Manager I to lead the fulfilment team and drive efficiency across inbound, replenishment, outbound, and services execution. The role focuses on ensuring high product availability and cost-effective order fulfilment.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, collaborate with internal and external partners, and uphold safety, inclusion, and sustainability practices while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• University degree with 3 years of related experience, or 7+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage securing efficiency, implementing improvements and new operational processes, technologies and ways of working across inbound, replenishment, outbound and services execution to enable excellent customer and coworker experience.
• Secure close cooperation and strong communication with Fulfilment Integration, Unit Management and External Transport/Service Providers to ensure the highest goods availability and lowest cost.
• Ensure Fulfilment Operations complies with IKEA code of conduct, SOPs, regulations and health, safety, security and environment rules.
• Lead, coach, develop and inspire a high-performing Fulfilment Operations team, working with Fulfilment Integration including communication, performance culture, succession planning and wellbeing.
• Oversee the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.

• Manage securing efficiency, implementing improvements, new operational processes, technologies and ways of working throughout the operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound, services execution), in order to enable an excellent customer and co-worker experience.
• Secure close cooperation and strong communication with Fulfilment Integration team, Unit Management team or support functions and External Transport/Service Providers, in order to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost.
• Ensure that the Fulfilment Operations team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all functional relevant Standard Operating Procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security and the environment.
• Manage leading, coaching, developing and inspiring a high performing Fulfilment Operations team by working closely with Fulfilment Integration team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, while maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
• Oversee the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 75303 CAD to 103541.5 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
