Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker in Canada. The role supports core and backup processes with emphasis on data integrity and efficient operations across fulfilment channels. You will help ensure goods availability and execute tasks accurately while adhering to safety and company policies.

The position offers a dynamic, teamwork-oriented environment with a focus on lean processes, cost-conscious execution, and continuous improvement. Starting rate is 19.28 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to take personal initiatives and apply them effectively.
• Skilled in the operation of technical equipment in various settings.
• Proficient at managing tasks in an agile, multichannel environment while improving efficiency within a complex omnichannel workspace.
• Experienced in following action plans and working methods under managerial guidance.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform effectively the core and support processes in the assigned area of responsibility, using the available systems and tools that support efficient operations and data integrity.
• Contribute to the highest goods availability through accurate and on-time execution of the assigned fulfilment unit operations area of responsibility.
• Commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and business requirements within the area of responsibility and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
• Ensure optimised daily fulfilment unit operations within the assigned area of responsibility by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way, applying and sharing good examples.
