Job summary

A leading Canadian retailer is seeking Class 1 Drivers for their Distribution Center in Beechville, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 driver's licence and a minimum of two years' transport driving experience. Responsibilities include transporting temperature-controlled shipments, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining logs. Position

Our Distribution Center is currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers – Short Haul.

Duties

• Transport temperature controlled shipments from our Distribution Centers to our customers.
• Report road incidents to dispatcher and follow accident procedures.
• Inspect truck and record issues.
• Report mechanical problems and safety concerns.
• Refuel and clean vehicle.
• Keep an activities log and log hours.
• Follow traffic laws.
• Other duties as required.
