Job summary

Qualifications

  • Able to lift/carry items up to 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 65 lbs occasionally.
  • Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (5 to -28 degrees in some locations).
  • Willingness to participate in a 5-day onsite paid training program and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble cases of product on pallets for inventory requests and prepare orders for shipping.
  • Wrap orders and prepare them for shipping; move through the warehouse using an electric pallet jack.

About the Role:

The Warehouse Assembler role is ideal for those who love to work independently and stay active, while being supported by a collaborative team in a fast-paced unionized environment. Loblaw is highly safety focused, and our goal is for colleagues to feel confident in their role and go home safe at the end of the day. What you will be trained to do:
  • Assembling cases of product on pallets for inventory requests made by Loblaw stores including wrapping orders and preparing them for shipping
  • Utilizing an electric pallet jack to move through the warehouse
