Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a FSQA Team Leader for our Heritage facility. You will supervise QA Process Leaders, oversee food safety programs, and coordinate audits and corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance and product safety.

You will plan staffing, administer training, and work with cross-functional teams to maintain high quality standards and continuous improvement. Strong English communication and HACCP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher preferred in a science field (asset).
• 3+ years of supervisory FSQA experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience with GFSI/BRC, HACCP principles and audits.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA Process Leaders to ensure tasks meet business needs.
• Lead QA programs, audits, and corrective action development.
• Plan staffing, approve hours, and manage vacations.
• Coordinate training (equipment, food safety, WHMIS, SDS).
• Support SOP development and cross-functional implementation.
• Prepare for third-party audits and coach managers.
