Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a seasoned FSQA Manager to lead the FSQA team at our facility. You will oversee food safety, quality assurance programs, and continuous improvement, while fostering regulatory relationships with CFIA and others.

You will coach a high-performing QA team, drive a strong FS culture, and lead changes to processes and systems during product launches and recalls. A university degree in a related field and 5+ years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years leading a high-performing QA/FSQA team in a food manufacturing facility.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA programs to meet corporate, customer, and regulatory requirements (CFIA, Health Canada, USDA, FDA).
• Lead internal and external audits (BRC, customers, CFIA).
• Coach and develop QA team; drive FS culture with facility leaders.
