The Keg Steakhouse + Bar in Banff is seeking a Floor Manager who thrives on on-floor leadership and delivering hospitality that guests remember. You’ll work alongside a talented team to keep service smooth, warm, and polished during busy periods.

You’ll coach servers, hosts, bussers and bartenders; manage guest flow and service pacing; assist with scheduling, training and hiring; uphold food safety and responsible liquor standards; and help develop the next generation of Keggers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Floor Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Leader or experienced Senior Server in a busy restaurant.
• ProServe certification.
• Strong understanding of restaurant service and Front of House operations.
• Calm, confident leadership style, especially when things get busy.
• Genuine interest in hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to hold people accountable while still being supportive and respectful.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to jump in wherever the team needs you.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Current residency in Banff or willingness to relocate.
• Ability to remain active and lift up to 25 lbs when required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Front of House team through busy services, support your people and ensure guests receive a great experience.
• Coaching and supporting servers, hosts, bussers and bartenders.
• Create a warm, welcoming and professional guest experience.
• Stay connected to restaurant happenings and step in where needed.
• Manage guest flow, service pacing, table turns and overall floor execution.
• Support the bar team and maintain strong service standards.
• Connect with guests and address issues confidently for service recovery.
• Help with scheduling, labour management and shift planning.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training and development of new team members.
• Maintain food safety, health and safety, and responsible liquor service standards.
• Build a team environment where colleagues feel supported, respected and accountable.
• Help develop the next generation of strong Keggers and restaurant leaders.
