Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Front-End Supervisor in Calgary to supervise the department, coach staff, and ensure a superior customer service experience. You will act as the go-to person when the Department Manager is unavailable, promoting customer loyalty and staff engagement.

You will lead by example, schedule shifts, monitor sales data, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines while driving a positive shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 12 months of retail experience.
• Ability to manage staff and supervise daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Keep work areas clean and presentable.
• Stay current with weekly in-store specials and pricing.
• Ensure accurate labeling following pricing strategies.
• Lead department and act as go-to person in the absence of management.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and coach employees with regular feedback.
