Job summary

Foodland is seeking a front-end cashier to deliver friendly, professional service and process transactions accurately. You will handle cash, support lottery and bottle returns, and keep the front area well merchandised.

The role involves assisting junior staff, following company standards, and supporting other departments as needed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service processing transactions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures.
• Operate Customer Service Desk following all procedures for lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries.
• Maintain Front End Department merchandise.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards.
• Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required.
