Job summary

Sobeys is hiring cashiers to provide friendly, professional service and efficiently process customer orders. Join the team to help create a positive environment that delivers an exceptional in-store experience.

You will handle transactions, maintain an accurate cash drawer following policy, operate the service desk for lottery sales, refunds and inquiries, and keep Front End merchandise well organized. You’ll also train junior staff and support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service processing transactions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures
• Operate Customer Service Desk following all procedures for lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries
• Maintain Front End Department merchandise
• Participate in the training of junior staff
• Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards
• Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required

Responsibilities
