Job summary

Safeway in West Vancouver's Caulfield Village store is seeking a cashier to provide friendly, efficient service and handle transactions accurately. The role involves cash handling, assisting customers at the service desk, and maintaining front-end merchandising.

You will contribute to a positive shopping environment, train junior staff as needed, and ensure compliance with company standards. The position is based at 5385 Headland Drive, West Vancouver BC.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process transactions.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures.
• Operate the Customer Service Desk per procedures for lottery, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries.
• Maintain Front End Department merchandise.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Adhere to all applicable company standards.
• Support additional departments and duties as required.
