Job summary

Pomeroy Inn & Suites Dawson Creek is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver warm, professional service to every guest. You will greet arrivals, answer phones, book reservations, and assist guests with information about hotel services and local amenities.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organization. Post-secondary hospitality education is preferred and experience at the front desk (Opera/Lightspeed) is an asset. Shifts include days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education in hotel/hospitality management or events planning required.
• Minimum 1 year of Front Desk or guest service experience preferred.
• Opera PMS experience and knowledge of Lightspeed PMS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor during all guest encounters and responds to guest concerns.
• Answers phones and welcomes guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Books guest reservations by phone, in person, or online.
• Processes check-ins/check-outs and provides information on hotel services and location.
