Job summary

George Dawson Inn Hotel in Dawson Creek, BC is seeking a permanent, full-time Night Shift Front Desk Manager. Location: Dawson Creek. Salary: 39.75 hourly for 30–40 hours per week. Start date: as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include leading night shift operations, staffing, guest services, reservations, and facility bookings. Requires college-level education or equivalent experience and 1–2 years in a similar role. MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills preferred.

Qualifications

• College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in front desk management or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily front desk and night shift operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise front desk staff.
• Establish work schedules and assign duties to front desk employees.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and provide ongoing training.
• Oversee front desk operations during the night shift to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Perform front desk duties including guest check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Address and resolve guests’ complaints and service issues professionally.
• Manage events and facility bookings and negotiate with clients for use of hotel facilities.
