Job summary

Woodrun Lodge in Whistler, BC is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, and deliver a seamless arrival experience.

• Maintain reservations and guest details, plus process payments and daily reports.

As our Front Desk Agent at Woodrun Lodge, you're the face of our guest experience for many guests: the first hello, the smooth check-in, the quick fix that turns a minor hiccup into a five-star review.

If you're at your best greeting guests, solving problems on the fly, and making guests feel at home within minutes, this role was built for you.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional approach and manage accurate, efficient check-ins and check-outs.
• Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, special requests, and
• Provide concierge services and assisting with booking Whistler Experiences (transportation, reservations, lift passes, activities).
• Proactively resolve guest concerns and deliver service recovery to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and the guest services team to support room readiness and address issues.
• Maintain accurate reservations, guest details, and pre-arrival information, including special requests.
• Process payments, deposits, and billing, and complete daily reports, logs, and front desk checklists.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the property, amenities, and local area to confidently assist guests.
• Support daily operations, including inventory of front desk supplies and assisting team members as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous front desk, concierge, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a calm and professional approach to handling guest concerns.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in property management systems, reservation platforms, and payment processing.
• Knowledge of Whistler and local activities is an asset.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak occupancy periods.
