Job summary

Kal Tire in Edmonton is seeking a Front Counter Sales Representative to be the first point of contact for customers, helping them select products and services while keeping the store operations smooth. You will greet customers, prepare quotes, process invoices, look up parts, and coordinate with the shop team to ensure a seamless experience.

This role offers hands-on automotive sales exposure in a supportive team environment. Shifts may include weekends.

As a Front Counter Sales Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact in the store, helping customers choose the right products and services while keeping things moving. This could be a permanent opportunity or a temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract, depending on your preference.

You’ll be part of a team that works together, supports each other, and delivers a consistent experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries
• Prepare quotes, explain options clearly, and support sales decisions
• Complete vehicle check-ins, including gathering mileage, tire condition, and service details (outdoors in all weather)
• Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems
• Prepare invoices and process transactions accurately
• Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain accurate customer records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with the shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience

Requirements

• Previous customer service and sales experience
• Interest in automotive (tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup is an asset)
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication skills with a practical, customer-first approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as required
• Team-oriented and committed to working safely

Store Details

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
