Job summary

Oxford Learning Montreal DDO is seeking a part-timeFrench teacher/tutor to support students after school in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Classes are small (1–3 students) and conducted in French, with curriculum provided by the center.

Responsibilities include after-school evenings (3:30–8:00 PM) Monday to Thursday and some Saturday slots, with an hourly rate of 16.60–17.50 CAD. On-site role requiring local commuting to Montreal DDO.

Qualifications

• CEGEP or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Bilingual French/English communication and strong language skills.
• Experience teaching/tutoring French at the Grade 9–11 level.

French Teacher/Tutor – Part‑time position at Oxford Learning Montreal DDO. Passionate teacher‑tutor needed to support children’s French education outside the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Follow Oxford Learning’s teaching methods and philosophies.

Qualifications

• CEGEP, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Strong command of spoken and written French and English.
• Experience teaching/tutoring French at Grade 9–11 (or equivalent) level.
• Ability to guide students’ understanding and manage up to three students simultaneously.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• Valid on‑site work authorization in Canada and ability to commute to the DDO office.
• Availability for after‑school/evening hours (3:30 pm‑8:00 pm, Monday‑Thursday) and Saturdays (9:00 am‑1:00 pm).
• Must pass vulnerable‑sector screening.

Schedule & Compensation

• Evenings: 3:30 pm–8:00 pm, Monday–Thursday.
• Saturday availability: 9:00 am–1:00 pm.
• Hourly rate: $16.60–$17.50 per hour.

Location

3701 boul. St. Jean, Suite B, Blue Haven Shopping Village, Dollard‑des‑Ormeaux, QC. Applicants must reside in or near the DDO area (short commute). This is an in‑person position; no relocation package is available.
