Job summary

Gestion Zagora, a real estate investment fund, is seeking a Co-op student for the Financial Planning & Analysis team in Montreal or Toronto. You will support the annual budget, reforecasts, and month-end packages, gaining hands-on experience across a full budget-to-actual cycle.

The role targets students in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics. SQL exposure is a plus; French is an asset. In-person placement and a 4- or 8-month term are available, starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related program.
• Understanding of the income statement and balance sheet.
• Exposure to SQL is an asset.
• French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budget and periodic reforecasts at the property and portfolio level.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. prior year) and explain key drivers.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting templates.
• Assist with month-end reporting packages for management.
• Work with the Data Strategy & Innovation team to automate recurring financial reports.

Gestion Zagora is a real estate investment fund managing about 8,200 residential units across 19+ portfolios in Canada and the United States. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team owns budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across the portfolio.Co-op work term: January 4 to April 30, 2027 (4 months) or January 4 to August 27, 2027 (8 months). In person, at our Montréal or Toronto office (assigned by Gestion Zagora). 8-month interns will see a full budget-to-actuals cycle and the start of reforecasting.
