Job summary

Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation is seeking a Foundation Associate, Donor Experience to strengthen donor relationships and drive revenue growth. Reporting to the CEO, you will implement stewardship plans, lead donor acquisition through patient and family solicitation, and foster collaboration with Brightshores staff and physicians.

You will work closely with leadership to grow engagement, ensure donor retention, and promote Brightshores’ values while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

Preferred College or University Degree in Fundraising/Non-Profit Management or related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a fundraising environment.
Experience managing projects with tight timelines and firm deadlines.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a small team.
Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge, or other donor database is an asset.
Demonstrated experience in software programs and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Canva, MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to effectively maintain confidentiality.
Ability to effectively handle multiple demands and complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner
Knowledge Brightshores Health System and its operating system is an asset.

Responsibilities

Strengthen relationships with current and prospective donors to grow revenue.
Implement a Foundation stewardship plan for all donors.
Drive donor acquisition through patient and family solicitation and Health Care Hero Program.
Collaborate with the CEO to ensure donor retention and engagement.
Build and maintain positive relationships between the Foundation, Brightshores staff and physicians.
