Job summary

Fairbrothers Formwork Ltd. in Richmond, BC is seeking a meticulous Detailer to translate design specs into buildable formwork and shoring plans. The role includes precise formwork detailing and accurate takeoffs to support estimation.

You will collaborate with project teams and work between the office and local job sites, utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and other detailing tools. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in concrete formwork detailing, strong drawing interpretation skills,

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of concrete formwork detailing experience.
Experience in rebar detailing is a strong asset.
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Ability to read, interpret and adjust complex drawings for projects.
CAD expertise required: AutoCAD and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

Review and adapt architectural/structural drawings to develop detailed formwork and shoring plans.
Produce clear shop drawings, layout and erection drawings for formwork.
Perform detailed formwork takeoffs to support estimation and construction.
Coordinate with estimating, project management and procurement teams.
Regularly travel between Richmond office and local job sites to clarify details.
Collaborate with Project Manager and Site Manager on design buildability.
