Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Reach Truck Operator for our Ottawa East End client to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements include reach truck experience, Raymond Reach forklift certification preferred, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a freezer environment. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a wage of $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Raymond Reach forklift certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and remain on your feet throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Previous warehouse or production experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to work comfortably in a freezer environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond Reach forklift to safely and efficiently retrieve, move, and store materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately locate and pick product lots from inventory to fulfill operational requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily documentation and reporting of discrepancies.
• Enter data into proprietary software systems with a high degree of accuracy (approximately 25% of the workday).
• Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization.
• Perform additional warehouse and production support duties as required.
