Overview

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is a technology-driven company specializing in hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. We are growing and offer various shifts: rotating day shift, Monday to Thursday night shift, and weekend night shift in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and Nisku facilities.

Role: Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing forklifts to move materials within storage yards or factories, loading and unloading trucks, conducting minor maintenance, assisting with inventory documentation, and supporting safety compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, hoists, and elevating platforms.
• Confirm completion of inventory transactions.
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets and skids.
• Properly store received materials.
• Select appropriate tools and equipment for tasks.
• Accurately ship and receive products.
• Assist with inventory counts and weigh/check materials.
• Support inventory control with accurate documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Weigh and document materials accurately.
• Participate in yard and facility cleanup.
• Adhere to safety standards per Silent-Aire policies and Alberta regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a forklift operator with a valid license.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Capable of moving equipment over 40 pounds.
