Edge Transportation specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight services throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.

We also offer Drayage services, a logistics specialty that involves transporting freight containers over short distances, crucial for intermodal shipping. This includes handling containers at warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports, and harbors, often involving loading and unloading large steel containers onto trailers.

Edge Transport is growing and is currently recruiting a full-time forklift operator for their Edmonton warehouse, with an expected start in early April. This position is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or as dictated by the business.

Scope

• Operate forklifts to accept, count, and unload inbound trailers.
• Load outbound materials from staging areas or trailers.
• Handle shipping and receiving with accurate documentation.
• Securely load materials into trailers to prevent damage during transit.
• Promote health and safety through participation and leadership in Edge Transport's safety programs.
• Operate all equipment safely.

What You Bring

• Experience in warehouse operations, receiving, or materials management.
• Experience in kitting and staging materials.
• Warehouse/parts picker experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• At least 3 years of forklift experience (gas, diesel, electric) up to 10,000 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
• Commitment to safety and reporting unsafe conditions.
