FLIGHTCRAFT AVIATION SERVICES

has a long history of providing safe, best-in-class aviation ground handling services. As we expand west into Alberta, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of Airline Ramp (BTW) Agent based in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is an integral part of the Flightcraft team and the leadership group within the company.

Job Summary

Ramp and/or Cargo Service Agents work under the direction of the Shift Lead/Supervisor and/or other management to ensure all aircraft handling activities are completed according to company policies and procedures. Key components for success include safety, attention to detail, adherence to procedures, teamwork, and effective communication. Candidates should be energetic, outgoing, adaptable to change, and flexible to the dynamic nature of aviation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights.
  • Service lavatories and potable water per company standards.
  • Connect and disconnect ground power/bridge power from aircraft.
  • Marshall aircraft to and from gates and parking stands.
  • Wing walk arrivals and departures.
  • Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors, and carts.
  • Operate container loaders, dollies, and freight equipment.
  • Complete aircraft grooming and towing.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and report deficiencies.
  • Perform snow removal, equipment cleaning, and housekeeping as required.
  • Attend and complete all required training sessions.
  • Participate actively in safety programs.
  • Work as a team in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to uniform standards and safety guidelines.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and management.
  • Complete customer baggage and cargo deliveries as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to apply for and secure an Airport Restricted Area Pass (RAIC).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding English.
  • Previous airline or freight handling experience is an asset.
  • Strong team player skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in varied shifts.
  • Willingness to adapt to the changing aviation environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • $85.00 annual protective footwear allowance.
  • Provided PPE.
  • Cost sharing on uniform pieces.
  • Paid training and vacation as per Canada Labour Program.
  • RAIC deposit may be required as mandated by airport authorities.
